This B Corp Month, we’re inviting the community to step into nature.
Join us at Oakmill Barn home of Chalk on the South Downs CIC near Ditchling, East Sussex, on Thursday 26th March for a Day in Nature focused on real, practical action: planting a substantial native hedgerow and a small coppice of trees with rewilding charity Forests Without Frontiers.
This is hands-on habitat creation, supporting wildlife corridors, soil health and long-term nature recovery on the South Downs.
The Day
13:30 | Arrival & introduction to the Chalk on the South Downs project and Forests Without Frontiers
14:00 - 16:30 | Tree planting session
16:30 - 19:00 | Food around the fire / in the yurt, plus short talks on nature recovery in Sussex. Sunset drinks, food, music and social.
Transport will be provided from Hassocks station to the site.

To secure your place register here. We ask for suggested donations of between £20-£40 pp to cover tree and event costs and to support the work of nature recovery charity Forests Without Frontiers and Chalk on the South Downs CIC.
