We produced the launch film for Knepp Wildland Foundation 100 Mile Classroom, a new landscape learning initiative connecting young people with nature, people and places around them.
The 100 Mile Classroom takes learning beyond the four walls of a traditional classroom, creating opportunities for young people to explore the landscapes on their doorstep and connect with the people and organisations working to protect and restore them.
Working with director Murray Ballard, we used our experience of past work in the nature and climate space to bring a fresh approach to the concept, to capture the initiative across Sussex over 3 shoot days. The production brought together video, stills and drone crew to build a wider picture of the landscape and the learning opportunities within it.
From concept development through to filming and post-production, Locate Productions managed the full production of the project. The final film brings together the voices, landscapes and experiences behind the 100 Mile Classroom, helping to introduce the initiative and its approach to learning to a wider audience.
